Summary
LoadNode is local-first: by default your data stays on your device. You can optionally create an account to back up and sync across devices, and optionally use AI group analysis. We do not sell your data, show ads, use third-party advertising/analytics SDKs, or track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect, and why
We only collect data tied to features you choose to use.

Crash/diagnostic data is not linked to your reloading records and excludes personal information (PII is disabled). If you never create an account, none of your reloading data leaves your device; only anonymized diagnostics may be sent to help us fix crashes. The app functions fully offline.
What we do NOT collect
- No precise location. (The app does not request location access.)
- No advertising identifiers, no ads, no cross-app/website tracking (no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown).
- No third-party analytics or social-media SDKs.
- We do not access your contacts, microphone, or other photos beyond the target images you choose.
Camera & photo library
The camera is used only to photograph targets you choose to measure. Photo-library access is used only to pick a target image and to save an annotated target image you export. Images are not uploaded unless you are signed in with a Cloud subscription.
Service providers (processors)
- Supabase — hosting, authentication, database, and storage for accounts and synced data.
- Anthropic — processes the numeric group data you submit for AI analysis. We do not send your photos to Anthropic.
- Sentry — receives crash and error diagnostics (no PII, no reloading data) so we can fix bugs.
- Apple / Google — process purchases and subscriptions (we never receive your full payment details).
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.
AI analysis
AI coaching output is informational only. It is not load data and must not be relied on for safe reloading. Always cross-check published data from component manufacturers and reputable manuals, and work loads up carefully. See the in-app safety disclaimer.
Data retention & deletion
- Local data stays on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
- Cloud data is retained while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all cloud data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, which removes your synced records and target photos and deletes your account.
- You may also request deletion by emailing [email protected].
Security
Account data is protected by row-level security so each account can access only its own data; photos are stored in a private bucket. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard protections.
Children
LoadNode is intended for adults (handloading is an adult activity) and is not directed to children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above and, where appropriate, noted in the app.
